Technical Lead

Alex is responsible for the technical delivery of all our projects, working alongside our lead artists to create interactive art works of the highest standard. He holds an an MEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol and an MA in Digital Media Arts from the University of Brighton. He has also taught both Visual Culture and Algorithms and Data Representation at tertiary level within the latter institution.

Alex is also a practicing solo artist specialising in cross-dimensional installation work; he is particularly interested in combining traditional fine art techniques and media with contemporary digital technology. His work Interstice which combines fine art resin casting with spatialised sound and light to sonify the human genome was recently shown at Goldsmiths, University of London as part of an international exhibition around nature-inspired art and computation.
