

In a unique artists led initiative, Blast Theory has developed a new studio complex. Based in a former Victorian icehouse overlooking Shoreham Harbour in Brighton, the building provides a new model for artists, scientists and industry to collaborate, research and exchange knowledge.
The building has been fully renovated and now comprises:
• Five studio/office spaces
• Communal area
• Project room and meeting space
• Residency accommodation
• Edit suite
Designed by award winning architects Block, 20 Wellington Road has been developed for use by artists, researchers, emerging businesses and small companies working in creative industries, digital and media industries. Blast Theory’s goal is to create an interdisciplinary community of international significance.
20 Wellington Road provides a unique opportunity for Blast Theory to develop new opportunities and partnerships. The space enables Blast Theory to bring together the company’s extensive national and international networks for collaborations, meetings and forums.
20 Wellington Road provides a hub for development and innovation in the intersection of arts, performance and digital media.
