About Rosa

Rosa is a recent graduate from the MA in Digital Games: Theory and Design from Brunel University London. Her post-graduate research has centered on psychogeography in games. She has been investigating how digital spaces evoke a sense of place through gaming experiences and academic text. Rosa explores our relationship with places by walking in digital and corporeal environments and crafting digital experiences.

“Bound”, is a video game Rosa created for her master’s dissertation, it looked at environmental storytelling and how everyday objects and landscapes can express narrative. The piece framed games as a romantic expression of authentic emotion by players and designers.

Aside from being a talented games designer, Rosa is a terrible climber with a love of urban exploration – which we assume leads to many a bruise.
