Our work Dial Ulrike And Eamon Compliant is part of Multitude in São Paulo, from 30th May to 10th August.

This ambitious event frames our understanding of today’s social movements through an exhibition, performances, lectures and discussions. The exhibition includes work by artists such as Mark Wallinger, Francis Alÿs, Kutlug Ataman and Aernout Mik. It takes place at the legendary SESC Pompeia designed by Lina Bo Bardi in 1986.

The curators have drawn on the many hundreds of protests worldwide – and especially in Brazil – since 2008 to explore how the multitude can be thought of today. Given the strong focus in Dial Ulrike And Eamon Compliant on our obligation as citizens to take action, we’re delighted to be invited to participate in Multitudes.

When you take part in Dial Ulrike And Eamon Compliant you enter a world of bombings and kidnappings. Choose whether to be Eamon or Ulrike as you move through the centre of São Paulo. Use your keypad to make decisions and as the world spins out of control, you too must make a choice. Hang up now and walk away. Or stay on the line…
