Dial Ulrike And Eamon Compliant © Blast Theory

We are presenting Dial Ulrike and Eamon Compliant at Live Collision International Festival in Dublin from 24th – 27th April. Alongside the performance, Ju Row Farr will lead a one day artist workshop.

Take part in Dial Ulrike and Eamon Compliant and enter a world of bombings and kidnappings in this tense mobile phone project about political violence. Choose whether to be Eamon or Ulrike as you move through the centre of Dublin. Use your keypad to make decisions and as the world spins out of control, you too must make a choice. Hang up now and walk away. Or stay on the line.

Place: Off Site – throughout the city
Dates: 24th – 27th April
Time: This performance is accessible 24hrs per day, for the duration of the festival.
Tickets: Free

On the 25th April, Ju Row Farr will lead a day long workshop – Asymmetrical Participation + Digital Collaborations. This hands on workshop will give an insight into creating strategies for engaging in dialogues through technology. Over the course of the day, participants will learn creative strategies for challenging/complex projects using conversations, questions and asymmetrical participation. How do you create meaningful dialogues from one person to many? How can conversations, which are automated, be designed to feel personal and as real as possible? And how can questions or questionnaires be used to build the arc of a work?

Using case studies from Blast Theory projects for video streaming, SMS and urban games, the workshop is suitable for all types of creative students from theatre, media studies and visual art, through to architecture and game design.

Date: April 25th
Location: Science Gallery, Dublin
Time: 10am – 5pm
Price: 30 euro non-members / 25 euro Create members
