A man smokes a cigarette at dusk

The world premiere of our new work, My One Demand, will take place as part of this year’s Luminato Festival in June 2015.

Streamed live to a Toronto cinema and online to an international audience, join us for this interactive film about unrequited love that follows seven people as they set out across Toronto.

We follow each person – one at a time – as they walk across an intersection and down a sidewalk, take an unexpected shortcut, drop into a dingy bar for a shot of whisky, or wriggle through a hole in the fence to gather around a fire.

Presented in a single, continuous shot, streamed live online and to a cinema in Toronto, a narrator tells us about the travellers (and herself) as each of them meets the next person. As we see their encounters unfold live, you can watch and interact with the cinematic journey in real-time on your mobile devices, from inside the cinema or from computers at home.

My One Demand will be streamed and screened live three times as part of the festival on:

8:00 pm – 10:00 pm (EDT)
