News/April 2018

Thanks to Our Friends Electric, we are thrilled to announce that these are paid opportunities and successful applicants will be paid the Brighton living wage.

The two placements available are:

  1. Monday 24th September – Friday 19th October
  2. Monday 22nd October – Friday 16th November

During each internship you will play a vital role on one of two major Blast Theory productions. This is an opportunity for those embarking on a career in the arts to have first hand experience working with an artist-led organisation and will give you the opportunity to develop skills in some of the following areas:

  • Administration
  • Research
  • Creative Development
  • Testing and preparing AV equipment
  • Film and theatre production
  • Post-production and video editing
  • Marketing and publicity
  • Use of Adobe Creative Suite

We are actively looking for interns that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. If you can’t afford to take an unpaid internship, this is for you. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.

Application Deadline: Friday 15th June 2018, 5pm

Apply Here. If you prefer to apply by sending a video, please get in touch with [email protected]

Selected applicants can expect to hear back by Friday 29th June 2018.

We have only been able to offer these two paid internships this year thanks to the generous support of Our Friends Electric fans, supporters and patrons. Thanks to all of them for making this possible!
