Christian Thompson is an Australian artist, currently living and working in Oxford, United Kingdom. He is the inaugural Charles Perkins Trust Scholar and the first Indigenous Australian to be accepted into Oxford University where he is undertaking his Doctorate of Philosophy in Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Fine and Art and Drawing. As a contemporary artist he has presented his photographs, videos and performance works in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally.
Christian in residence at 20 Wellington Road until 18th September and is working on further development of an audio piece and a new body of photographic work.
