News/April 2012

Tyler Stefanich is a Minnesota artist whose work draws on memory and unconscious habits of interpretation, using analog/digital-technologies to dislodge the viewer’s sense of normalcy.

His residency will focus on developing a series of projects that explore the internet as a collective memory, constructing real-time visualizations using HTML5 and other related emerging technologies. His main focus will be research and development of frameworks for a live generative evolving game constructed out of assets from the internet.

Tyler will be in residence at 20 Wellington Road for April and May 2012.
