Chroma Collective is a hybrid media art collective combining moving image, performance & technological experimentation. Permanent members artist and animator Kate Genevieve and theatre artist Julie Rose Bower work with a wide group of associates including choreographers, sound designers, technical developers, performers and animators.

Kate and Julie will be in residence at 20 Wellington Road for October and November and during that time will be working on Born On A Train, a new project for urban train station sites.

This performance journey will explore how the modern media environment shapes how we think and make decisions on our journey through life. We will explore the agency of the crowd through a series of interactions that play with the audience’s relationship to an individual character seen across animated projections, handheld devices and performances, the audience become implicated in a media narrative that explores the space of the real, the imagined and the uncanny.
