New typeface designed by Blast Theory and other invited artists.
Blast Theory have been commissioned to create their own typeface for the latest CD edition of IBEAM – a project that exploits contemporary typography software to construct typefaces developed by different creative groups. With 26 letters and 10 numbers at their disposal, ‘Blast Theory’s microdot inspired letters reveal hidden messages that hint toward a political rhetoric’. Other contributors include Attik Dance, Lone Twin, Siobhan Davies and Rosemary Lee.
IBEAM The Dancers Edition is launched on 11 June 2004 and published by Plymouth Arts Centre and the Institute of Digital Art and Technology.
