Blast Theory has been nominated for the International Award for Public Art for Rider Spoke.

The IAPA was established to increase visibility for public art internationally and is administered by the Institute for Public Art (based in Hong Kong) in collaboration with Forecast Public Art (USA) and Shanghai University (China). Over the past few months, the IAPA have reached out to artists, public art administrators, organisations, scholars, curators and aficionados around the world and have received hundreds of suggestions for projects to be considered for the next award.

After combing through these submissions, Rider Spoke has been shortlisted as a semifinalist for the Award.

We are absolutely thrilled to receive this nomination – thank you to everyone who voted!
