Ting Tong Chang is a Taiwanese artist currently living in London and will be on residency with us through May. He is interested in juxtaposing the conventional idea that machines are efficient enough to replace humans by creating a serious of animatronics that highlight human flaws such as anxiousness, quirkiness and often unproductiveness.

Drawing themes of science, technology and history into his practice, Ting produces satirical responses to the world around us. His work has spanned across a variety of disciplines including ink drawing, durational performance and kinetic sculpture.
