News/June 2018

Welcoming Dr Celia Pearce as our artist in residence with us from June to July 2018.

Celia holds a position as Associate Professor of Game Design at Northeastern University in Boston, is co-founder and Festival Chair of IndieCade, and served as co-curator for XYZ: Alternative Voices in Video Games, the first exhibition to celebrate women game designers.

During her residency, Celia will be working on three projects including a ‘Who is R Muut?’ a pervasive alternative alternate reality art history game; ‘Project: Indie’, a research project to map and understand innovation drivers in the indie games eco-system; and ‘The Analogue Holodeck Project’, an interdisciplinary collaborative creative practice and research project.
