Jessy Lauren Smith is a Chicago-based playwright, producer, and sound designer. She is a founding member and Co-Managing Director of Living Room Playmakers, a playwright-driven collective that writes plays for unusual spaces. While in residency with Blast Theory, Jessy will be working on Artifacts, an audio tour blended with live scenes that will lead participants deep into an urban artifacts store, while raising questions about how our cultural narrative affects our current allegiances. This Living Room Playmakers event will take place in Chicago in November 2015.
