About Leonardo
Leonardo is a digital artist, video maker and likes to tell stories. He has previously worked with theatre companies, fashion labels and art collectives, in order to help them create striking narratives and visuals.
As an artist, he’s interested in the decomposition of the image and on socio-political aspects like accessibility, censorship or poverty. In particular, the behaviour of users when experiencing art and in the magnetic power that screens and moving images have on people.
Why Blast Theory?
I started following and admiring Blast Theory’s work before moving to England, and I find the combination of immersive performance, technology, and gaming a great medium and breeding ground to create a conversation with the audience. With my background in site-specific theatre and video making, I’m looking forward to merging my skills in a challenging and creative way.
