Razi is a civil litigator and eminent media lawyer.

Born in Iran, Razi moved to London with his parents at the age of three. After gaining a BA in International Relations from Sussex University and MA in Law of the Sea from Keele University, Razi qualified as a solicitor in 1986; was made a Partner in 1989 and Managing Partner in 2010.

Razi has been instrumental in Simons Muirhead LLP’s growth to the size it is today. He is Director of the Death Penalty Project and London Regional Vice Chair of the Institute of Directors.
