With support from the Arts Connect West Midlands Bridge programme, the Engagement and Collections teams of Birmingham Museums Trust explored how they can work together to develop new creative ideas and approaches to engaging children and young people; in particular, through collaborations with artists working in different disciplines. Blast Theory artist, Ju Row Farr was invited to support this exploration and provide an insight into Blast Theory’s creative processes and practice, alongside Luke Jerram, Friction Arts and Tangled Feet.
As part of this development the education teams of Birmingham Museums Trust took part in a Creative Planning workshop on 27th November 2013.
