We’re thrilled to be in Belgrade this week for the British Council’s PlayUK where our museum app Gift is open to the public at the Museum of Applied Art. The app enables you to send personalised messages and images from a collection to someone you care about and will be available to try as part of the museum’s ‘At the First Sight’ exhibition.

Returning to Belgrade this year PlayUK is a festival of innovation and the interaction between art and technology which looks specifically at video games and the gaming culture. It brings together British, local, and regional creatives from the fields of programming, gaming, VR/AR, animation, interactive and narrative design in a celebration of Serbian gaming’s impact on the world stage.

Gift will be hosted at the temporary exhibition Fashion in Modern Serbia from 23 to 31 January 2020. On 4 February 2020, it will be ‘moved’ to the permanent exhibition At the First Sight where it will be hosted till 30 September 2020. Gift is in English but you can make recordings in Serbian or any other language you like.
