News/February 2018

Are you a veteran who could talk to us for a new film we’re writing?

As part of the national commemoration of WW1, Blast Theory have been commissioned by 14-18 NOW to make an interactive feature film exploring why some of us choose to go to war and others choose not to.

Blast Theory artist Matt Adams (also directing and co-writing the films) would like to interview ex-service people and learn of their experiences of frontline service with a particular focus on the challenges of combat. The script will be derived from these interviews and verbatim extracts may be used in some cases.

We want to interview ex-military, RAF or Navy people:

  • with experience of front line combat and / or direct involvement in conflict zones
  • of any gender from across the UK with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • willing to speak for 60-90 minutes

If you’re interested to help or want to know more about the project please get in touch via [email protected]

Interviews will take place in March and April 2018.

Please see the call out poster below.
