This artists’ talk at ArtScience Museum, Singapore takes a look at the intersection of art, science and technology in our recent work on infectious diseases. Blast Theory artists Matt and Nick, discussed our artist residency at the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2018, and our resulting two works; an interactive installation piece examining one of the early sites of transmission in the SARS epidemic in Hong Kong; and our parade last year which marked Philadelphia’s devastating 1918 flu pandemic and the ‘superspreader’ parade which accelerated the outbreak.
